Hi friends and family!
Thank you for your prayers – our travel went smoothly with no luggage lost and no trouble getting through customs! Everyone is feeling well rested after a full night of sleep.
We found out this morning who the morning people are, as well as those who are not :) Deb burst in to my room this morning when I finally woke up, saying, "Oh good, I'm so glad you're awake!" like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for their parents to wake up. Brian was reportedly awake at 5am. Brenda and I are unashamedly NOT morning people!
Ray is doing a great job as our driver. Keep him in your prayers – we drive 12 hours on Tuesday, and 15 hours the following Tuesday. Jaime and Deb will be helping out though if they don't chicken out :)
Today we will be doing a children's outreach in Okahandja, where we will also be doing a service tomorrow morning. Jaime is going to put her soccer skills to use, doing some games and drills with the kids.
We're so happy to be here and excited for what God has in store!

My dad's a stud.
Love you Mom.
with my dad driving, that 12 hours may take 14 or 15 :)
So glad to see that you made it safely! Praying for you!
Ok so sorry it took so long to write, but I had a major brain fart and couldn't find the blog site. DUH! Whatever! Anyway, I'm so glad you guys are safe and sound and in NAMIBIA! AMAZING!
Brian - We will miss you tomorrow. There are so many people out, but we'll be okay. You have important business over there, and you will be awesome! Let God use you like never before! The kids will want to hear all about it when you get back! So exciting!
Mr. Ray - So tomorrow Arabella is dropping off her very first Buddy Barrel, and you aren't there :( And while you found a good sub in Duty, she'll miss giving it to Mr. Ray. Oh well, there's always next month! But we told her you were away on an important mission for Jesus, so she understands! You be careful on those long trips okay. Make sure you tell someone if you get tired! The kids will be so excited to hear from you too when you get back!
Brenda - I miss you already! I don't like going to church when you're not there :( but I can't wait to hear all about this when you get back. You are going to be amazing, and God is going to change you so much. He just does that you know? You are so awesome! I miss my friend, but you are serving with the best of them over there! Breathe it in!
Court - You are so cool. Like you're leading this trip by yourself. I love it. Just wear some bug stuff . . . and think up some crazy stories from your childhood . . . it'll be allll good! Good in the hood. Courtney Good in the hood. Ok, I'll stop. Bless you as you lead . . . you're amazing!
Ok I'll stop now. Praying for you all. Will check back constantly! Love ya!

Hey team!
It's great to hear you arrived and all is well. I'm sure you are enjoying the beautiful sunshine each day!
I look forward to hearing about your ministry there. Just reading the posts makes me miss Namibia! There is much work to be done there for the Lord. Thank you for giving of yourselves to reach Namibia for Jesus!
Drive safely... And watch for elephants! Have fun up north! I love Katima. Please greet Namushi for me when you see her :)
Be encouraged to daily crucify the flesh and walk by the Spirit, putting on God's full armor for the battle you will face. And have fun! Watch and be amazed at how God uses you for His glory!
Jeffrey, Eliana and I will be praying for you!
Love,
Melissa
Hey guys! So excited for you!! I remember looking forward to reading the blog to connect with everyone whenever possible.
The pictures are great. I am believing that God will use you mightily. AND most times it's not in the way you expect.
I hope you are resting sufficiently. Drink lots of water.
