okay elly. my exact words.. i was thinking that this looks straight out of lion king.
amazing... glad to hear that you all made it out unscathed. especially from the ostriches... ( is that the plural of ostrich??). they are mean creatures. and to think, i liked the safari at ANIMAL KINGDOM.. you know. the Disney place where they capture animals and make them look like they are in Africa... yeah. that one... amazing that you guys are actually there.
anyway. stay strong-- only 2 days left! enjoy every minute of it... give God your all. you will be coming home to rest & restore yourselves before you know it!
love & prayers
oh, and maurice. way to make friends with the ground squirrels :] love

Wow, Wow, Wow....I've been showing off the blog site at work and everyone was blown away by your pictures, Courtney. At first they thought you just had a REALLY good camera til they saw the edge of the road...yep...of course the next question was "seriously Juanita does that scare you" HA, what an opening!!!!! In the small things. You guys look refreshed. Praise God He gave you such wonderful days!! He has renewed your bodies, go forth. My prayers are constant for the Lord to continue to use you and show His power through you!!

Can't wait to see and hear more when you get home.

I love you guys.

p.s. - There are people on this trip I have never met and can't wait to meet them after watching you for the last 12 or so days!!!!

JEN!!! Hey it is Renee and Jena here. Reporting from the States! Renee got a white board so Fwa is happy. We really miss you. We played catch phrase and wished you were there. We are praying for you and the rest of the team. OH!!! NIcole had a dream about you last night, she hugged you 80 times because you were back in America!!!! The heat has turned on here so it is really hot, kinda like Africa. It is also really loud. We think you should photpshop your brother's picture into the elephant picture and use it as your Christmas card. That would be really cool! So we had this really funny speaker in chapel and he told us a story. I am going to tell you the story. There was a white lady that went to a place that was having race riots. She was staying at a hotel and got on the elevator alone with three black men. The black men said, "Hit the floor lady." She proceeded to drop to the floor of the elevator. The started to bust up laughing. The y said, "We meant the button to which floor you wanted to go to." When she went to check out her room was paid for and she received a note that read: Thanks for the best laugh I ever had. Signed Eddie Murphy. Isn't that FUNNY?!!!! Well we love you Peace out.

From Jeanette's parents again....
We have followed your journey with great interest and excitement and praise for what the Lord has done through you all. The pictures on safari were fabulous...(Jeanette, your Daddy is jealous.) We continue to pray for more miracles from the Lord in your last days in Africa. We trust His continue protection upon you as you travel back home to those who love you and wait with open arms to welcome you back.

Blessings to all.
