Hey daddy,I miss you I just watched the video. It sounds a little scary to me. But then mom explained it to me and I understood it more. It must be great to be there. I was kind of scared that you would have to leave the country. I'm glad that you just got your visa signed.

Were doing good out here we got home from Grammy's house a little while ago. I wish you could have seen my soccer game on sunday. I had a really good game. We won by a mile and they didn't score any goals at all.

love,
Caleb
P.S. I wish I could go to Africa some day soon.

I was on my way to work this morning today felt an undeniable feeling to pray for you, precious Africa Team. As I prayed it was completely with this verse in mind, "Indeed, the One who watches over you neither slumbers or sleeps. The Lord watches over you- He is the shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from ALL harm- he will watch over your life; he will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." -Psalms 121:5-8

I'm reading all about Corrie Ten Boom's life right now, and as women who faced the enemy square in the face let her words encourage you as you do the same,
"It is not my ability, but my response to God's ability, that counts."

Touched, inspired, humbled, and alittle jealous,
Andrea D.

p.s. love you Jeanette and Moe!

caleb's comment was so cute! had to say that :)
I'm honestly stunned by what the team has been through already...and God was and continues to ALWAYS be there! How amazing is that, that He can do all things at once?! You know what,...he's really actually kind of like Super Mom. Really! But that's besides the point. Pastor Eran, you'll be so delighted to know that I finally went to your dad's church with a girl from my small group. It's a little less than a 2-mile walk (i think i may have to wear sneakers to church)...and we passed a crime scene...but totally worth it! The sermon focused on what my small group had talked about the previous wednesday; the calling of the first disciples and how Simon says (ha. haha, 'simon says', funny) "because you say so, i will let down the nets." God is not just calling you individually though, he is calling those around you...your family and friends and all of us stuck here without you! Just like he called Simon to let down his nets, he called those around Simon because there was no way that guy was pulling in THAT many fish alone. Remember the second boat that came out to help. You guys aren't alone, which has certainly been shown plain as day recently!! I'm praying that God gives you unceasing strength and determination as the week goes on, and safety in all that you do.
Moe--HSM3?? Looks more enticing with every trailer i see! Blaise says there better be some "yea-a's" Miss you!

i honestly just dont know wat to say. i came home tonight and looked at the blog and am just blown away. god knew exactly wat he was doing the entire way. thats the best thing about god, the amazing things always happen wen we least expect it, cause if we expect it, then its not really all that amazing. u know i wish i could have gone with you guys, but i know that god had me stay here and give my support through prayers. know this, i will continue to pray for the rest of the trip, and i will be sure to pray even more for the spiritual battles that WILL come. and be sure to know that it is almost cetain tht it will come, but know that God will not let anything happen that you cannot bear. love u all.
P.S. hug a bunch of kids for me!!!!!

Tell Pastor John and Kathe it was great to see them "in action" in some of the pictures. And if Pastor John doesn't know who "woogie" is tell him it's "The Franklin!" "The Baldwin" also sends her love and prayers. By the way I'm really enjoying reading the comments from all the other "bloggers". It's so wonderful to know we're all in the family of God and on the same page supporting the team with our love and prayers!

Really getting tugged by this... A great thing to see scripture being active right in front of your eyes. Knowing that our relationship with the Lord is a vibrant connection that is part of our lives, not just something we just use from time to time.

Praying!!

I love how you guys transport us to Africa through your videos, pics, and blogs. It inspires me to get a missions trip on my agenda in the near future. Though the enemy usually rears his ugly head when the possibility of spiritual victory is on the horizon, I'm thanking God that Satan's methods are pretty predictable. Please know there is a prayer covering over you and your loved ones as you minister. We've got your back, Guys!
Lynn
P.S. Missy, you look beautiful in the pics!!!!!

Hello to all, but a special hello to my sister-in law Deb and cousin Sharon. I finally had a moment to check out the site. My hearts go out to all of you that can see these children and not stuff them in your suitcase to take them home. It kills me to see their little faces. I am sure the happiness you bring cheers them up, but what about all the other days. I hate to see a sad child. I wish there was something for these children that they would no longer feel heartache, saddness, and/or pain. I can't wait to hear your experience Deb and Sharon too. I am sure it is an experience of a lifetime. All is well here so keep up the good work. Tina
