TUESDAY 10/14 WEDNESDAY 10/15

So much ministry has been packed into the last 2 days, but I will do my best
to sum it up! Usually when we get to the end of the day, we can¹t even
remember what we did in the morning!

On Tuesday alone, we had 4 school assemblies, an AIDS caregivers support
group, home visits with AIDS patients, a children¹s program with orphans and
vulnerable children (OVCs), and a midweek church service (in 3 languages)!
With so many opportunities planned, many people had the chance to get
involved.

In addition to Ray and Jeanette preaching in schools, Jen Bohner stepped up
and did it today. It was her very first school assembly preaching to a few
hundred children, and she had the added challenge of using an interpreter!
She was incredible! It was great to see other people play roles in the Sin
Chair drama (Dot and Patsy are battling it out for who can be the best cop).
Kay got to make her big debut in the ³Everything² drama (but was enjoying
the spotlight so much we almost had to pull her off stage!).

The visit with the orphans was completely impromptu. A woman saw us
ministering somewhere and invited us to her OVC center. At the OVC center,
there were couple dozen children they rescued from the dumping grounds
(basically they find vulnerable children digging through the landfill).
Their rescue efforts were inspiring and the children were precious. The team
did a great job being flexible and so compassionate.

On Wednesday, we got to sleep in a bit, which was so refreshing! We spent
the morning walking through the village of Ombili, inviting parents to bring
their children to the afternoon Kids¹ Crusade and praying with families.

Maurice has not been feeling well, so while we were canvassing Ombili,
Melissa took him to a local doctor. The appointment was quick and the
medicine was cheap! He was given medicine for a throat infection and is
feeling better already!

We also got to do an extended children¹s program at our friend Zipporah¹s
kindergarten. As soon as we pulled up in the vehicles, the children ran to
the fence and started chanting, ³Teach us, teach us, teach us!² They were
probably the most loving and welcoming children we¹ve worked with! They were
fascinated by the Polaroid photos we took and gave them, and they loved the
face paint and balloon animals.

In the afternoon, we held the Kids¹ Crusade. As soon as the children saw us
in the parking lot, they came running down the street from all directions!
In all, there were about 200 children (speaking 3 languages).

In the evening, we were at Faith A/G, which is similar to our American
churches. Pastor John brought a great message, and Pat and Dot shared
awesome testimonies!

We have one more day of ministry, and then we get a bit of a break for the
weekend. Keep us in prayer, as exhaustion is settling in and some of our
team members are not feeling well (temperatures have been unusually high,
and it has been unbearably hot even for the Namibian people).

Love and gratitude,

Pastor Courtney and the team

God is so amazing. Just reading through all the things that have been happening is so incredible. It is so inspiring to hear about all the ways you all are ministering to these people and what an impact you are having. I am just in tears right now knowing how you have completely changed people's lives. Reading about the demon possessed girls and the orphans just breaks my heart but it is so awesome to know that their lives will never be the same. Thank you for staying strong and facing all the challenges that the devil has put in your way without doubting the power of what God can do and inspiring all of us back home. I love you all so much and of course miss you so much too. Stay strong and know that I'm praying for you!

Much Love, Ess

I bless You Lord. I praise You today. Lord I will trust in You as You love my son more than I do. Father, in Jesus' name, remove the pain that Maurice is experiencing. In Jesus name, heal his throat remove all infection from his body. Satan, I bind you in the name of Jesus in Maurice's body. Loose him and let him go! Demon of infirmity, in Jeus name I render you powerless. Loose him and let him go!! Take your pain, sickness, infection go to the pit and stay there. In Jesus name, I declare healing in you, Maurice, from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. In Jesus' name, be healed!!.
